How we’re working to keep you safe from Covid-19
At The Hotel Britomart, we want to give every guest that stays with us the peace of mind to know their health and well-being is our very top priority.
Our health and hygiene program is called Clean Touch, and was developed in conjunction with TFE Hotels.
We are working with Diversey – a global leader in professional cleaning and hygiene solutions for more than 95 years. Clean Touch uses Diversey products which are used in line with the general cleaning and disinfection advise issued by the New Zealand Ministry of Health in response to COVID-19.
Our safety protocols related to food service, safety and cleaning have been designed in line with New Zealand Government regulation. All cleanliness and hygiene procedures are overseen by a dedicated team of health and safety practitioners. Kitchens, back offices, guest rooms and public spaces are all subject to stringent disinfecting protocols, which includes all high-touch surfaces.
We also have protocols in place to respond to New Zealand’s COVID Alert Levels, which include social distancing protocols.
If a guest tests positive for COVID-19 whilst staying at The Hotel Britomart, our front desk team should be informed immediately. Guests are required to adhere to the Ministry of Health Traveler self-isolation guidelines. During self-isolation, our team will cease any direct contact however are here to support with outside deliveries, fresh linen or room service. Deliveries will be made contactless. Housekeeping will not be offered. Our team are only a call away to ensure isolation whilst in residence is a comfortable one.
